The Rescue Mission Canada photo challenge is a great chance for Rescue Mission members and youth to get involved! Photos based on a different monthly topics can be submitted to the RMC flickr group. People are encouraged to share ideas and create a dialogue based on these images.
Each month one photo will be selected and displayed on the RMC website in the photo gallery.

April's photo challenge is all about Earth Day. Send us your pictures of yourself or others taking action on environmental issues or participating in Earth-friendly activities!

The Thunder Bay Youth Week organizers will be holding the first of a series of planning meetings. The first will be on January 14th from 5 to 8 pm at the Thunder Bay District Health Unit. Future meetings will be on Feb. 4th, March 3rd, April 17th and April 28th.

It's official!! The next congress in the WYC series will be held in Canada, hosted by 'la belle province', Quebec!! 600 of the world's most dynamic young activists will be in Quebec City from August 10 - 21, of this year. Planning sessions are currently underway and the enthusiasm and energy is infectious!

The 2008 World Youth Congress is born from the intention of people from the Quebec region both to give young people an important place in Quebec City’s 400th anniversary celebrations, and to give them the opportunity to map out the future – both of Quebec City and the rest of the world. This event is the result of collaboration between local youth representatives and two well-established, youth-led, international networks.
